Marco was a NOAA-CESSRST Undergraduate Fellow from 2019 until his graduation in 2021. He was then the lead Research Technician with the lab through Summer 2022, focusing on data collection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the five eddy covariance towers across the North Slope of Alaska. He currently works as a Research Assistant on the Permafrost Pathways Project at Woodwell Climate Research Center in Woods Hole, MA, but still consults with the lab part-time. He hopes to pursue a PhD focusing on greenhouse gas sources and sinks through the use of eddy covariance in Fall 2024.
