Kennedy is a Masters student of Ecology at SDSU. She received a B.Sc from UC Davis in Environmental Science, where she became interested in the ecology of managed ecosystems. Her background includes studying the influences on drought tolerant lawn transformations, as well as nutrient management in agriculture and grower decision-making. Currently, Kennedy is researching the effects of climate change on wine varietals.
