Walter Oechel is a San Diego State University biology professor and the director of the university’s Global Change Research Group. His research primarily focuses on developing and understanding the predictive capability of the interconnections of terrestrial, atmospheric and marine systems on global change. He has worked on several elevated atmospheric CO2 global warming and global change projects.
